Articulation Agreements
Community college honors programs have the opportunity to enter into an agreement with the Lee Honors College to benefit students who wish to continue to their honors program participation at Western Michigan University.
Although each agreement is modified to be mutually beneficial for the community college and the Lee Honors College, there are certain basic components to all articulation agreements. All students wishing to continue their honors work at WMU must first be admitted to the University. A letter from the honors program director, advisor or coordinator confirming the student's participation and/or completion is required. Following admission, the student will consult with the dean, the associate dean or the academic advisor of the Lee Honors College of WMU to establish an appropriate course of study in the honors college. Graduation from the Lee Honors College at WMU will occur when this course of study is completed.
The Lee Honors College has active articulation agreements with the following honors programs:
- Delta Community College
- Grand Rapids Community College
- Kalamazoo Valley Community College
- Kellogg Community College
- Lake Michigan College
- Lansing Community College
