We are incredibly proud of the thousands of graduates of the Lee Honors College. Our students and staff are always delighted to meet alumni and learn about their many accomplishments.
This past year we hosted two alumni events at the honors college. In April 2014 we held the first ever all-Medallion Reunion, inviting the over 400 alumni who have been Medallion Scholars in the past four decades. We had a wonderful evening, and plan to continue hosting an annual all-Medallion Reunion each spring.
In July 2014, we hosted a reunion day for alumni who attended the honors college in the 1990s. These alumni and their families enjoyed a day touring new facilities on campus, including the Parkview College of Engineering and Applied Sciences and the Oakland Drive College of Health and Human Services, visiting Eldridge residence hall, having lunch in Bigelow cafeteria, and having fun in the Student Recreation Center. We intend to have more honors college reunions in the future. Please make sure we have your current contact info, so that we can invite you to events!
We also invite our alumni to return to campus to participate in our fall welcome Common Read discussion, and to serve as judges at our Medallion Competition in January and February and at our Thesis Celebration Days at the end of the fall and spring semesters. Alumni are always welcome at any of our public events. If you are interested in volunteering or helping to plan an event, please contact Associate Dean Jane Baas at firstname.lastname@example.org.
