
Contracts are accepted on a rolling basis, so there is no deadline to submit a housing contract. Housing assignments are done on a first-come, first-served basis, so the earlier your application and signed contract are received, the more likely your chance of getting one of your preferences.
The WMU Board of Trustees must vote and approve housing rates each year. Typically they are set in late spring.
Students wishing to cancel a housing contract must do so in writing or at the Office of Residence Life. A cancellation fee may apply depending on when you cancel your contract and whether or not you are still attending WMU.
