Room Chair Program

More flexibility for you!

In our continuous efforts to make your campus living experience better, we surveyed our current students in regards to how they utilize their in-room furniture.  While we provide a desk chair to all of our on campus students, many prefer to bring their own from home.  We hope to better accommodate students’ needs by removing the university chairs from each of the rooms and allowing students to bring a chair of their liking from home.

If you do not want to bring your own chair, you will still be able to obtain a university-provided chair.  Complete the chair request form by August 17, and during move-in you will pick up your chair at a designated time on your floor.  After August 17, you can request a chair at your residence hall once you move in.

When you receive the university chair, you assume responsibility for it and any damages that are incurred throughout the school year.  As always, all university-provided furniture must remain in your room.
