Each floor requires a separate security key for entry. After 5 p.m. the main doors are locked, and you will need a valid Bronco ID to enter the building.

Residents can enjoy an open community room with a kitchen, lounge with a big-screen TV and gaming equipment like billiards. Gaming equipment can be checked out at the front desk. Spindler residents can also reserve the room for events at the hall office.
The Spindler hall office and desk is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. The desk has gaming and cleaning equipment, as well as sends and receives mail.
Each Spindler room has an Ethernet port that connects residents to ResNet, the high-speed residential computing network at WMU. An Internet fee will be charged to each student's WMU account. Visit the ResNet website for details.
The laundry room is located in the basement. Residents use quarters, Laundry Bucks or a Laundry Access Card to operate the machines.
Mailboxes are on the first floor in the main lobby. The U.S. Postal Service provides mail delivery and pick-up. All intercampus mail will be routed through the Residence Life office. There may be a one-to-two day delay in receipt.

MicroFridgeA MicroFridge is a combination microwave, freezer and refrigerator. They are available to rent through Bedloft, or you can purchase your own. For service questions, contact Bedloft at 866-651-LOFT.
If you have pest concerns, please contact Residence Life at (269) 387-4735 to have a licensed exterminator inspect your room.

A telephone line with local service is provided in resident rooms. Students will need to bring their own phone. Voice mail and other phone options are available for a minimal charge from the Office of Information Technology.
All utilities, as well as basic cable and local phone service, are connected and available when you arrive. Cost for service is included in rent payments.
