Rates

• Single, furnished rooms are $315 per month
• Single, furnished rooms with a private bathroom are $340 per month*
• Rent includes all utilities except phone and Internet
• Free cable

* There are two female rooms with a private bathroom. There are no male rooms with a private bathroom.

Contract

Spindler Hall is a contract by semester. Please review the current contract for information.

Paying Your Rent

Rent is billed to WMU student accounts, and residents can choose either a monthly or semester billing option. If applicable, financial aid may be applied to WMU student accounts toward housing charges. Consult with Financial Aid if you have questions.

Direct Payment Methods

Rent is due on the first of each month (unless you have opted to pay by semester). If you have chosen the monthly payment option, the recommended payment methods are to go to Bronco Express in the Bernhard Center or pay online through your "GO WMU" account. To ensure the payment is credited to rent and not to other bills owed to the university, indicate it is your Spindler Hall rent when speaking with the cashier. The rent check should be made payable to Western Michigan University and indicate "for rent".

IMPORTANT! If rent is billed by the month, financial aid only pays the first month of the semester. You are responsible for paying the remaining months of the semester. If billed by the
