Rooms
Every room in Spindler hall is furnished with a bed and dresser (some are also furnished with a desk). Each room includes ample closet space, horizontal blinds for the windows and an overhead light. Telephone connections are provided for a monthly fee. However, residents will need to provide their own telephone. Basic cable is free.
Telephone service
The WMU Telecommunications provides local and long distance services. Contact WMU Telecommunications directly at (269) 387-4357 to have your telephone service activated. To make long distance calls, you will be issued an authorization code that must be entered upon dialing. All fees are billed on a monthly basis by WMU Telecommunications. Your monthly statement will be mailed to your on-campus address. All telephone charges will be charged to your student account.
Cable service
Basic EduCable is available free of charge to Spindler Hall residents. Premium channels are also available for a monthly fee through WMU Telecommunications.
Internet access
All rooms are connected to ResNet, the high-speed residential computing network at WMU. An Internet fee will be charged to each student's WMU account. Visit the ResNet website for details.
