Phishing - Don't Get Caught

Phishing is a way of gaining private information such as usernames, passwords, or credit card information by masquerading as a trustworthy entity in an email. Communications purporting to be from WMU, popular social websites, auction sites or online payment processors are commonly used to lure the unsuspecting public. Phishing often directs users to enter details at a fake website whose look and feel are similar to the legitimate one. Stay safe and don't bite! WMU will never ask you for your private information in an email.
