Computer Lab Services

The Office of Information Technology provides five computing facilties for students, faculty and staff. A Bronco card is required to use computing facilities at WMU.

There is no charge to use the computer labs, however there is a charge for color printing and if a student exceeds their limit of 500 pages printed per semester, they will be billed.

Bernhard Center lab

This lab is equipped with Windows and Macintosh computers, wired and wireless laptop stations and laser printers. A Novell network provides standard computer applications.

Faculty technology center

This lab is a multimedia lab for WMU faculty, teaching assistants and instructors to learn how to use technology and develop courses in Elearning to compliment their teaching.

Multi-purpose enabling technology labĀ 

In this lab adaptive technology is used to complete course work and access the Web. Lab resources include OCR scanners, JAWS software and Braille printers.

Student technology lab

This lab is a specialized multi-media/graphics lab for students only. Advice and assistance is provided for the development and production of academic projects.
