Next Friends event: presentation by Dr. Jacqueline Eng, Anthropology, Wednesday, February 12, 2014, 3:30 pm; Stewart Clock Tower Room, 3rd floor Waldo Library. It will focus on her work in Nepal which was highlighted in an article and TV special by National Geographic.
NOTE: The location is changed from the Meader Room to the Stewart Clock Tower Room (accessible through the 3rd floor library administrative offices)
The Friends of the University Libraries was established in 1992 to:
- Strengthen and support the activities of the Western Michigan University Libraries.
- Offer an opportunity for interested individuals to come together with a common interest in the library and cultural activities of the Libraries.
- Encourage gifts and bequests, including donations of appropriate bound and unbound materials.
- Assist in special projects and aid in the development of special collections.
