Welcome! We invite you to take full advantage of the resources and services that University Libraries provides to support all forms of learning, discovery and engagement at WMU. We are committed to enhancing your success and scholarly experience whether you are a first year student, an established scholar, use our collaborative spaces and physical items, interact with us remotely, explore independently, or engage with us in classes and workshops. The Dwight B Waldo Library and its three branches collectively hold more than 2 million volumes, and provide extensive collections of electronic journals, online databases, and rare and unique materials. Our librarians are experts in a variety of subject areas and are pleased to provide research support in-person, virtually or in classrooms. I invite you to explore our website to learn about our resources, and individualized services.
This is an exciting time for WMU Libraries, as we prepare for the March arrival of newly appointed Dean of Libraries, Julie Garrison, to lead us in meeting the current and emerging needs of the WMU community. We invite your partnership in the process of reimagining WMU Libraries’ services, resources, and physical and virtual spaces in the upcoming months and look forward to hearing from you through our March campus-wide library survey (LibQual+) and other forums. Meanwhile, please contact me or use our Ask Us services for any inquiry.
