Liturgy O.C.S.O

Liturgy O.C.S.O was published by Gethsemani Abbey, Trappist, KY and edited by Father Chrysogonus Waddell from 1966-1999. The first issue notes that the journal (at that time a newsletter) grew out of the September 1965 meeting of the Liturgy Commission of the Order of Cistercians of the Strict Observance as a means to keep one another informed of their research and progress in the liturgical renewal which grew out of Vatican II. Naturally, it enjoyed a relatively small circulation throughout its run, though its audience and contributors expanded to include secular scholars of the Cistercian liturgy, as well as practitioners.
