These sources provide information about books, periodical articles, dissertations, and archival materials relating to particular areas of dance.
ADF supports modern dance--its creation, presentation, preservation, appreciation, audience development, and education. The ADF archives contains papers of Joe Nash, Pearl Primus, and Anna Halprin, among others.
An alliance of institutions with significant collections documenting dance history, the DHC provides access to archives of primary source materials. Examples include private libraries and collections of papers, letters, photographs, etc., and collections of dance organizations. Look at Finding Aids under Access.
