ABI/INFORM Global restricted

An index of over 1,800 publications with abstracts, and full text from over 700 of these titles, selected from newspapers, trade publications, and journals on business including, for example, administration, economics, computers, finance, human resources, management, and marketing. Full-text of Wall Street Journal articles available from 1984. Otherwise coverage is from 1971 to the present with some older material available. Updated daily.

CIAO: Columbia International Affairs Online restricted

CIAO is a database of full text resources for theory and research in international affairs. It includes working papers from university research institutes and NGOs, proceedings from conferences, books, journals, policy briefs, case studies and course packs. Includes basic data and statistics collected by EIU on 203 countries. Coverage from 1991.

GPO Access (Government Printing Office) open access

GPO Access offers free searching and access to the full text of the Federal Register, Code of Federal Regulations, the Congressional Record, U.S. Public Laws, the Budget of the United States, GAO Reports, and other major U.S. government documents.

International Trade Reporter restricted

Includes the latest news and trends in U.S. trade policy, including regulatory, legislative, and judicial developments from U.S. Congress, the International Trade Commission, Departments of State, Treasury, and Commerce, World Trade Organization, and European Union. Also includes developments affecting U.S. trade and international business policy and the policies of major U.S. trading partners.

LexisNexis Academic restricted

Indexes thousands of domestic and foreign newspapers, as well as journals, and other publications in News, Business company reports and articles, Legal Research, Medical and Reference. The legal research category includes law reviews, law news, federal and state laws and cases. Mostly full text. Includes Hoover's full text. Coverage dates vary.

National Bureau of Economic Research restricted

Access unbiased economic research by policy makers, business professionals, and the academic community. Use this to search the Working paper series of NBER.

OECD Library restricted

Provides online access to all books, reports, annuals, working papers, loose-leaf binders, periodicals and databases of the Office of Economic Development.

PAIS International (Public Affairs Information Service) restricted

Indexes articles, books, conference proceedings, government documents, research reports, statistical directories, and more about public affairs worldwide. Coverage is from 1914 and is updated monthly.

Science Direct restricted

Database for scientific research that contains the citations and abstracts of more than 1,800 Elsevier journals in the life, physical, medical, technical, and social sciences as well as selected full text articles. Science Direct can be searched as a database or browsed by individual title. Coverage varies.

Librarian's Comment: The Social Science section includes journals in economics, econometrics and finance.

Social Sciences Citation Index restricted

(Web of Science) The Social Sciences Citation Index is a multidisciplinary database that indexes more than 1,725 journals spanning 50 disciplines, and selected, relevant items from over 3,300 of the world's leading scientific and technical journals. Disciplines include: anthropology, history, industrial relations, information & library science, law, philosophy, political science, psychiatry, psychology, public health, social issues, social work, sociology, urban studies, women's studies. Because the information about each article includes the article's cited reference list (or bibliography), you can also search the databases for articles that cite a known author or work. Coverage is from 1956 to present. Please LOGOFF, so others may use the database.

Wall Street Journal restricted

(Eastern edition) A U.S. daily financial newspaper that covers news and trends relating to business, industry, finance, the economy, and international commerce. Provides extensive price and other data for securities, commodity, options, futures, foreign exchange, and money markets. Full text in HTML format from 1984 to the present, but does not include data from tables and graphs. Just abstracts from 1982 to 1984.
Microfilm: HG 5 on the Lower Level, 1920-date.
Print copies:current copies at the Central Reference Desk and Science Reference Desk until the microfilm arrives.
