Microsoft Musical Instruments
Located at the CD-ROM station in Music and Dance Library. Illustrates and describes instruments, with sound examples.
Founded at the University of South Dakota at Vermillion in 1973, the NMM contains more than 15,000 American, European, and non-Western instruments. Their site includes a virtual tour as well as checklists of some of the instruments with brief descriptions and images.
