One of the most frequently used style guides for graduate students in the Humanities and writers of scholarly articles and books in literature. Includes sections on citing electronic publications.

APA Style

This guide, prepared by Purdue University, is intended to serve as a basic introduction to the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association. The Manual provides specific guidelines for documents written in the APA bibliographic style. If you require more complete information, consult the Manual (BF 76.7.P83 2001); copies are available at the reference desks in Waldo Library and all branches. Note: Some APA specifications do not conform to The Graduate College's style requirements for preparation of theses and dissertations. Be sure to consult your professor or advisor regarding specific class, departmental or college requirements.

Use with word processing software to cite and format references easily in a variety of writing styles. You will have to set up an individualized account the first time you use RefWorks.
