The Martin Cohen Collection of Kalamazoo Fine Press Ephemera contains ephemera (printed matter such as bookmarks, envelopes, pamphlets, handbills, and etc.) printed in the Kalamazoo area. Mr. Cohen (WMU Professor Emeritus) was a professor of the former School of Librarianship at Western Michigan University where he taught the History of the Book. His interest in printing evolved from teaching this course.

The collections' focus is primarily on the items Mr. Cohen printed himself, catalogues he used to purchase printing materials, ephemera from The Private Press & Typefoundry of Paul Hayden Duensing, and a booklet from the Michigan Letterpress Guild (2000) with printing examples from other Michigan fine presses.
