Dr. Tom Carey has developed and conducted numerous seminars and is an active consultant for business, educational and not for profit organizations. He is the recipient of two teaching excellence awards, one from the University and the other funded by the state of Michigan. His research interests include small business development, leadership and strategic management. He is a past president of the Cass County Chapter of the National Management Association and has earned two national NMA awards. He is currently the faculty advisor to the Alpha Kappa Psi Business Fraternity.
