Rich Compton has twenty-three years of Human Resource Management experience in the manufacturing sector. He has experience in both union and non-union environments, serving as an HR generalist. He had corporate executive management experience as Vice President of Human Resources prior to joining the teaching staff at Western Michigan University. He has ten years of experience at W.M.U. in the management department teaching human resource and general management courses. He serves as advisor to Delta Sigma Pi business fraternity at W.M.U and he is currently on the board-of-directors for the Susan G. Komen Cancer Foundation. In addition, he performs occasional consulting work in the community human resource area.
