Dr. Jennifer Palthe, professor of management, is a Western Michigan University Distinguished Teaching Award recipient, and a Haworth College of Business Faculty Service Award recipient. She teaches managing change, leading people and organizations, international human resource management, international management, and multinational management. Prior to commencing her doctoral studies at Michigan State University, she was senior change management Consultant for Andersen Consulting (now Accenture). Palthe has consulting experience in retailing, manufacturing, finance, aviation and oil and gas industries in Europe, Africa and the United States.
Her research has been published in the International Journal of Intercultural Relations, Journal of Asia Business Studies, California Management Review, Competitiveness Review, Health Care Manager, Forum on Public Policy, Journal of Academic Perspectives, Consulting Psychology Journal, Journal of Education for Business, Journal of Diversity Management, Management and Organizational Studies and Journal of Organizational Change Management. Palthe was nominated by WMU for the Carnegie Foundation U.S. Professor of the Year Award.
