Dr. Jennifer Palthe, associate professor of management, is a Western Michigan University Distinguished Teaching Award recipient. She teaches managing change, leading people and organizations, international human resource management, international management, multinational management and organization development. Prior to commencing her doctoral studies at Michigan State University, she was senior change management Consultant for Andersen Consulting (now Accenture). Palthe has consulting experience in retailing, manufacturing, finance, aviation and oil and gas industries in Europe, Africa and the U.S.A.
Palthe's research interests include social sustainability in business education, managing change in transnational corporations, cross-cultural diversity management and global human resource management. Her work has been published in the International Journal of Intercultural Relations, Journal of Asia Business Studies, California Management Review, Competitiveness Review, Health Care Manager, Forum on Public Policy, Consulting Psychology Journal, Journal of Education for Business and Journal of Organizational Change Management.
