Dr. Wes Martz is vice president, marketing at Kadant Inc. (NYSE:KAI), a global manufacturer of technology-based systems and equipment for process industries. He is also responsible for leading the marketing, new product development, engineering and research and development functions at Kadant Johnson Inc., a subsidiary of Kadant Inc. His areas of expertise include business strategy, global product and market development, strategic evaluation and organizational performance.
Martz teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in marketing strategy, marketing research and global marketing. In addition, Martz has served as an invited lecturer at the University of South Florida, is a frequent speaker at industry and academic conferences and is the founding president of the American Marketing Association, Southwest Michigan.
His professional and research interests include organizational strategy, organizational effectiveness, decision-making in business and evaluation theory.
Martz is a member of the American Evaluation Association, American Marketing Association and Product Development and Management Association. He also serves on the review board of the Journal of Mixed Methods Research and is a SCORE volunteer. His professional and research interests include organizational effectiveness and leadership, evaluation theory and complexity in organizations.
