Academy Leaders
- Each spring, the MLK Academy hires 8 to 10 leaders, upperclassmen, to pair with incoming freshman students
- Leaders must have a grade point average of 3.0 or better, must have junior status, and be flexible and able to work with a diverse population
- Leaders help students develop good academic study and time management skills, leadership skills, goal setting, and assist them with schedule building
