Events & Activities
The Center for Student Learning and Development is located in the Division of Multicultural Affairs, and offers diverse programming to MLK Academy students.
- Circle-Ups – Provide an opportunity for students to experience diversity on campus through participation in a variety of academic, cultural, political, and leadership events sponsored by the Division of Multicultural Affairs.
- Hispanic Heritage Month – A series of events are held throughout the year to provide students with a rich culturally diverse experience, and to celebrate the success and accomplishments of Hispanics.
- Black History Month – A series of events are held throughout the year to provide students with a rich culturally diverse experience, and to celebrate and acknowledge the contributions of African Americans.
- University-Wide Programming – Academy students participate in a wide variety of collaborative, diverse programming held throughout the University.
- MLK Academy Celebration – The academic year culminates with an event to celebrate all Academy students, and to confer special recognition on students who have demonstrated academic excellence.
