Music 1500 Concert Series Information

Since the 4PM class time we settled on does not allow us to be at the Wednesday 7:30-9PM concert series this semester, we will instead be having a series of three concerts that will take place during our 4-5:30PM class time. These concerts will be in the Dalton Center Recital Hall (NOT our regular classroom in Knauss Hall).

Concert Dates:
Monday, February 6
Monday, March 26
Wednesday, April 18

On these dates, we will meet directly at the Dalton Recital Hall, and you should plan on being in the Recital Hall from 4 to 5:30PM.  The concert will be followed by a writing assignment, so bring a #2 pencil.

Concert Pass: Each student will need to purchase a $15 Concert Series Pass in order to attend these concerts. Passes will be sold before and after each of the Music 1500 classes in Knauss Hall on Mon Jan 30 and Wed Feb 1, and if necessary before class on Monday Feb 6. Please bring exact cash (no checks or credit cards will be accepted). All proceeds from these concerts are for the School of Music Scholarship Fund.

-Bring a #2 pencil to each of these concerts
-Do not expect to leave early on these days. Each in-class concert will feature a
1 hour performance followed by a 50-point writing assignment.
