Faculty and Staff
The faculty of the School of Music at Western Michigan University perform and compose music for over 150 concerts each year across the nation and in many foreign countries. They are frequently published in books they have authored, articles they have written, computer programs they have created, and recordings for which they have composed or performed. They serve as presidents, governors, chairpersons, delegates, editors, and on boards of directors; they are in constant demand to read papers, adjudicate music competitions, and serve as musical consultants; they have been honored with numerous prizes and awards which reflect the esteem in which they are held both on campus and in the profession-at-large.
