Louella M. Stratton, a retired Western Michigan University staff member, died Dec. 31, in Kalamazoo. She was 88.
Stratton joined the WMU staff in 1963 and retired in 1984 as a secretary in Dining Services after more than 20 years of service to the University. She was a lifelong area resident who enjoyed bowling, birds, working jigsaw and crossword puzzles, traveling the world, and especially visiting with her grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, the Kalamazoo Nature Center or Northwest United Methodist Church.
