Tara Buchanan, of Kingsford Heights, Ind.; Courtney Rousseau, of Bay City, Mich.; and Jennifer Tschetter, of Scottsdale, Ariz., are the first trio to earn Academic All-MAC in the same season since Mary McCloskey, Laura Steward and Jaymie Voss accomplished the feat in 2004. The first time WMU softball boasted three honorees, it was Kelly Burris, Sheila Poteracke and Cindy Weber who made the 1987 team.

For Rousseau and Tschetter, it is the second time in their careers they earned Academic All-MAC, joining six other Broncos, including former teammate Lexi Jager, to garner the honor in multiple seasons.

Buchanan, earning the award for the first time in her career, is senior with a 3.53 GPA in recreation. Rousseau graduated with a 3.98 GPA in civil engineering and was named First Team Capital One Academic All-District V. Tschetter also is a recent graduate and carried a 3.87 GPA in psychology.
