Dinner and silent auction to raise funds for social work students

KALAMAZOO—Western Michigan University's School of Social Work will host a dinner and silent auction later this month to raise funds for student scholarships and field stipends.

The event, Sock Hop for Social Justice, is set for 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, March 15, in the atrium of the College of Health and Human Services. The evening will feature dinner, music by DJ Todd Lockett, and a silent auction to raise funds for specialty scholarships and field stipends in WMU's School of Social Work.

Individual tickets are $50 and $25 for students. A full table can be purchased for $350.
