KALAMAZOO—Western Michigan University faculty, staff and graduate teaching assistants are invited to the fourth annual Assessment in Action Days conference, which runs March 20-22. The conference is free of charge and no registration is required.

Learning opportunities on various assessment topics will be provided. All sessions will be in workshop format, so bring assessment plans, syllabi for courses taught, surveys and any other pertinent assessment data to the sessions. Participants will have the opportunity to reevaluate what they are currently doing with assessment, update plans and processes and come away with useable information. For those new to assessment, guidance and advice will be provided on how to get started.

The program includes the announcement of the winners of the University Assessment Steering Committee Assessment Excellence Awards as well as two symposium sessions to showcase the assessment work of several departments at WMU. A poster session will also highlight the assessment projects of the 2012-13 Assessment Fellows.
