"Spank! The Fifty Shades Parody" brings all the naughty fun of the best-selling book to life, though the show is not associated with nor authorized by "Fifty Shades" author E.L. James or Vintage Press. The show cleverly re-imagines the book's characters as they come alive with hysterical comedy, musical numbers and steamy performances from the man in the grey tie. Since its premiere in October 2012, "Spank!" has become a box office hit with tour dates in over 150 cities across the United States and Canada.
Audience members can enjoy pre-show drinks including a specialty "Spank!" cocktail. After the show, showgoers will have the opportunity to pose for photos with cast members.
"Spank! The Fifty Shades Parody" at Miller Auditorium is part of the Lake Michigan Mailers Spotlight Series and is welcomed by Meijer. Tickets are on sale now and cost $42. They can be purchased online at millerauditorium.com, by calling (269) 387-2300 or (800) 387-2312, or in person at the Miller Auditorium Ticket Office.
A 15 percent discount is available to all WMU faculty and staff, and a 50 percent discount is available to WMU students. Discounted tickets may be purchased by phone or in person, and a valid Bronco ID is required at the time of pickup. Group discounts are available at (269) 387-2312.
