Former Bronco head football coach and WMU Hall of Famer William "Bill" Doolittle died Thursday, April 10, after a brief illness. He was 90. Doolittle headed the Bronco football team for 11 seasons from 1964-74, leading WMU to its first Mid-American Conference championship.

A celebration of his life is set for noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, June 22, on campus in the Seelye Center. Gifts may be made to WMU's Gary Athletic Fund.
