Kalamazoo Film Society presents 'Only Lovers Left Alive'

KALAMAZOO, Mich.—The Kalamazoo Film Society will present "Only Lovers Left Alive" June 6-12, at the Alamo Drafthouse in downtown Kalamazoo.

Show times are announced shortly before the movie opens. Admission is $5.50 for film society members and regular Alamo Drafthouse prices for the general public.

Set against the romantic desolation of Detroit and Tangier, an underground musician, deeply depressed by the direction of human activities, reunites with his resilient and enigmatic lover. Their love story has already endured several centuries at least, but their debauched idyll is soon disrupted by her wild and uncontrollable younger sister.

Starring Tilda Swinton, Tom Hiddleston and Mia Wasikowska, and directed by Jim Jarmusch, the film is rated R for nudity and language with a run time of 123 minutes.
