KALAMAZOO, Mich.—Western Michigan University is upping its commitment to meet critical unmet student needs with a fundraising and student engagement campaign known as the Consider It Dunn Campaign.

Beginning this week, students are selling official Dunn Zone T-shirts, featuring the face of WMU President John M. Dunn, for $10. All proceeds will go to the Student Emergency Relief Fund. The fund is accessible to all WMU students facing immediate financial need and part of the Invisible Need Project that also includes a food pantry for students in need.

The T-shirt was designed by WMU student Cody Potter, a senior from Kentwood, who is majoring in computer science. Potter also is information technology coordinator for the Western Student Association.

The fundraiser is supported by the Office of the President, WSA and Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. The Dunn Zone shirt is the official student shirt for home football games as a part of the new student experience in the Dunn Zone and new entrance at Gate 8.
