KALAMAZOO, Mich.—Several information sessions are being held this semester so Western Michigan University employees can learn about their free-tuition benefit.

All employee sessions will be held at noon Wednesdays in 205 Bernhard Center, and refreshments will be served. This semester's sessions are set for Oct. 4, Nov. 8 and Dec. 6.

They will include presentations by the Office of Admissions, the Graduate College, Extended University Programs, Human Resources, University Studies and the Center for Academic Success Programs.

Tuition-related benefits

WMU offers a discount program for benefits-eligible employees and a remission program for the spouse and dependent children of employees with full-time benefits eligibility.

Full-time benefits-eligible employees can take undergraduate or graduate courses tuition free. Dependents of benefits-eligible employees qualify for 75 percent tuition remission on undergraduate courses.

Information sessions focusing on the free-tuition benefit have been scheduled on a near monthly basis from now through the summer II session.
