Rutgers vice president to take research reins at WMU

Following a nationwide search, WMU has named Dr. Terri Goss Kinzy the new vice president for research. Kinzy, currently vice president for research at Rutgers, will take the reins of WMU's research enterprise, effective Jan. 8

Common Rule Changes

The Final Rule for 45 CFR 46, the Federal Policy for the Protection of Human Subjects a.k.a. the "Common Rule" by the Department of Health and Human Services, was published on Jan. 18, 2017.  The majority of changes will go into effect July 19, 2018.  

WMU Mallinson Institute receives $622,992 NSF grant

Dr. Charles R. Henderson, director of WMU's Mallinson Institute for Science Education, has received a National Science Foundation grant of $622,992 in support of his project, which evaluates instructional strategies.
