Membership in the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Western Michigan University entitles you to a number of benefits like early registration and discounted fees for courses and trips. There are no requirements to become a member. There are no tests to take. No grades will be given. Membership simply means that you’re a part of this community of people committed to lifelong learning.

Cost for membership is $35 per year or $90 for a three-year membership. For 2014 only, individuals who join in spring will pay a pro-rated amount of $17.50 for membership through June 30. Beginning with July 2014, the membership year will be July 1-June 30 and members will receive renewal notices in mid-May. Those paying a three-year membership in January will receive six months free as the membership will run from January 2014-June 2017.
