Technology is rapidly becoming more and more important in schools today. The prevalence of computers and the array of tools they offer teachers can make them a powerful part of the curriculum. The key is using the technology in the right ways.

WMU offers a primarily-online MA in Educational Technology that aims to sharpen the skills of people who deal with technology in schools or for school districts. The program is also geared toward individuals with intermediate technology competencies who want to move into school or district technology roles. The courses are focused on the teaching, learning, and organizational issues that promote the effective use of information technology in schools.

This master's degree from WMU is offered primarily online. Students can take between 15 and 33 credits online. Students in the program will learn the skills to be a flexible professional in an ever-changing job market. Through the program, students will:
