Adding Content to the Course Content Home Page

To add a file to the course content home page:

1. Click on the Build tab.
2. Click on Add File and choose Browse for Files or Create File.
   • Browse for File will allow you to select a file from the course File Manager or your hard drive.
   • Create File will allow you to create a new HTML document.
3. Click OK (for Browse for File) or Save (for Create File).

To add a folder to the course content home page:

1. Click on the Build tab.
2. Click on Create Folder...
3. Enter a title for the folder.
4. Enter a description (optoinal). This will appear beneath the folder title on the course content home page.
5. Select the Item Visibility.
   • Show Item will allow student to see the folder and its contents immediately.
   • Hide Item will not show the folder or its contents until you choose Unhide.
6. Click Save.

To add a content link to the course content home page:

1. Click on the Build tab.
2. Click Add Content Link and select an item from the drop down list.
   If the item already exists in the course, it will be displayed in this list.
   If the item does not exist, you may create and add from this list.
