Centers and Institutes

WMU hosts a variety of centers and institutes that provide a context for interdisciplinary academic missions supporting teaching and scholarship. The Haenicke Institute for Global Education, the Kercher Center for Social Research, the Evaluation Center, and the Center for the Study of Ethics in Society are examples of WMU centers internationally recognized for their work. Links to these and other centers and institutes are available online.

WMU's Policy on Centers and Institutes—provided below—defines these units, describes procedures for proposing new centers and institutes, and outlines requirements for annual reporting and periodic program reviews.
