Support Political Science

Gifts and donations make possible the extra margin of excellence in the Department of Political Science.

Financial support enables students to participate in regional and national activities, gain valuable experience in internships, attend conferences, and study abroad. Any unrestricted development funds are used to exclusively to support our students. If you can help, please contribute online or complete the giving form, fill it out and send it in. We will be very grateful!

Your donations help us attract and keep top faculty, recruit the best graduate students, and support undergraduates.

In addition to our general scholarship and development fund, we have funds to support specific programs or scholarships. Examples are:

• Mock Trial Fund
• David Houghton Scholarship Fund: supports scholarships for interns to work in Washington, DC, and Lansing
• William A. Ritchie Memorial Fund: supports an award for the outstanding student in political theory
• Claude and Nancy Phillips Dissertation Research Fund: supports dissertation research by a doctoral student in political science
• Chet Rogers Endowment: supports an award to a faculty member who displays outstanding departmental citizenship and service
