The Haenicke Institute for Global Education offers
study abroad programs for political science majors
and minors in locations spanning four continents
and 13 countries. The curriculum includes courses
in comparative politics, international relations and political theory, as well as area studies that complement
and support the study of political science. With
advance approval most students can apply some or all of their study abroad courses to their major or minor. Program
profiles for each program are available in the Haenicke
Institute for Global Education Study Abroad
office in B2425 Ellsworth Hall. Grants and scholarships are available for certain types of programs.
You may also select programs through other universities and, with advance approval, apply some or all of your course work to major credit, minor credit or general education credit. Programs vary in their duration, from as little as ten days to as long as an academic year.
