Undergraduate programs
The Bachelor of Science has a natural science orientation consistent with the contemporary definition of psychology as a science of behavior.

A strong behavioral orientation influences the department's programs.
Clinic information
The clinic provides doctoral students with opportunities for practicum and specialized training in clinical and research skills and functions as a provider of psychological services to the University and the general community.
Community partnerships
Students apply the information learned in the classroom to practical problems within the community.

The Association for Behaviorial Analysis International (ABAI) will be hosting the 39th Annual Convention in Minneapolis, Minnesota May 24-28, 2013. Many faculty members and graduate students will be presenting their research at the event.
Dr. Richard Malott, Dr. Alyce Dickinson, and Dr. Wayne Fuqua have been named Top 25 Psychology Professors of Michigan from Online School - Michigan.
Amy Durgin, Ph.D student in the Behavioral Analysis program, was honored with the All-University Graduate Research and Creative Scholar Award by Western Michigan University's Graduate College.
Dr. Alyce Dickinson has been honored with a Lifetime Achievement award by the Organizational Behavior Management Network.
