University Recreation at Western Michigan University offers a wide range of fitness classes to meet your fitness needs. Motivating, enthusiastic and energy-packed instructors will lead you in classes that consist of a variety of cardiovascular activities, as well as strengthening, flexibility and relaxation exercises designed to meet the needs of all fitness levels. Passes are required for admission to all classes.

Student, Alumni, Spouses and Retirees Prices:
Single class, $3
Fall Fitness Pass (does not include F45), $35
F45 Semester Pass (does not include group fitness), $70
Unlimited Semester Pass (Group Fitness & F45), $90
*Bronco ID must be presented to get into class.
Please note fitness classes will be capped due to space limitations and equipment availability:
-Zumba classes will be capped at 70 participants.
-Cardio-type classes will be capped at 50 participants.
-Strength-type classes will be capped at 40 participants.
-Cycle Fit classes will be capped at 25 participants.
-F45 classes will be capped based on the class type. Cardio is capped at 27. Strength is capped at 18 and Cardio/Strength Hybrid is capped at 18 or 28 depending on the workout.
We encourage you to arrive 15 minutes prior to all fitness classes.
Western Wellness Prices
Thank you for your support of the group fitness classes at the SRC. Moving forward, ALL group fitness classes will now be available to Western Wellness participants for a small fee. We hope that this encourages participation in all class offerings, not just a select few. Please see fall pricing for more information.

Physical activity readiness
Completion of the physical activity readiness questionnaire is required prior to initial participation. Questionnaires may be filled out at the Student Recreation Center service desk at time of payment.
All fitness passes, including VIP Bronco, are to be used only by the person who purchased the pass. You may not transfer it or allow anyone else to use your pass or punches.
Become a Group Fitness Instructor
Join us for an eight-week program that teaches individuals the guidelines for safely teaching a variety of group fitness formats such as strength, cardio, choreographed dance, aqua aerobics and more while allowing hands-on experience and constructive feedback from professionals within the field.
Instructor training will include a one-hour classroom portion and two-hours of hands-on training weekly.
