Western Michigan University offers a variety of credit and non-credit classes in the summer. Summer courses are open to WMU students, guest students from other colleges and high school students seeking to take a college course. WMU offers undergraduate and graduate courses in two terms—summer I and summer II.
WMU offers more than 3,600 sections of courses in summer 2016. The summer I session runs from May 9 to June 29 and the summer II session runs June 30 to August 19. Review the academic calendars for a complete summer schedule.

Guest and high school student admission
Guest students from other colleges and high school students seeking to take a college course must apply for admission before registering for summer courses.
