Fall 2014 Registration

The Fall 2014 schedule opened for viewing this morning. Students can search the schedule offerings through GoWMU or on the public website at Fall registration begins on Monday, March 10. The priority schedule can be found at:

Textbook Requisitions

As a reminder, all Summer I, Summer II and Fall textbook orders need to be submitted as soon as possible in order to keep WMU compliant with the Higher Education Opportunity Act (HEOA) of 2008. According to the Act, institutions of higher education must provide required and recommended textbook information with their published course offerings.

Midterm Grading

The deadline for instructors to submit midterm grades is Monday, March 10. Starting this semester midterm grades can now be submitted to Banner from D2L. Instructions are available on the Registrar’s Office website

Letters sent to Canceled Students


Last week the Registrar’s Office sent letters to students who applied for graduation between 2011 and 2013, but did not receive a degree due to outstanding graduation requirements. The letter went out to 584 students, encouraging them to return and complete their degree at WMU. A copy of the letter can be found at

  • Monday, February 24—Fall 2014 course offerings open for viewing

  • Friday, February 28—Spirit day

  • Monday, March 3-- Last day for 25% tuition refund for a complete withdraw

  • Monday, March 3—Spring break begins

  • Monday, March 10 – Midterm grading closes, end of day

  • Monday, March 10—Classes resume

  • Monday, March 10—Fall 2014 registration begins

  • Monday, March 17—Last day to withdraw from Spring courses

  • April 21-25—Final Exam week

  • Saturday, April 26—Commencement

  • Tuesday, April 29--Spring grades due at noon
