Dr. Adams has two and a half years experience living and conducting research in Taiwan, including time spent there as a Fulbright scholar and a recipient of the Taiwan Ministry of Education's Short Term Research Award. His current research and writing projects include a book on Falun Gong in Taiwan and a book on the comparative practice of Falun Gong around the globe. Dr. Adams is a visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Comparative Religion at Western Michigan University. He has previously taught World Religions at UCSB as well as having teaching experience in Religion, Law and Society both in the US and around the globe.
