Determining Power and Sample Size

This website covers many basic designs and may help you with your power calculations and determinations of appropriate sample size.

The Statistical Consulting Center , provided by the Department of Statistics, collaborates with WMU researchers and local industry with assistance reagarding statistical design, data collection, anaylsis, report writing, and grant preparation.

CARMA

WMU faculty and students are eligible to view a series of ten live webcast lectures from nationally recognized methodologists through the Center for the Advancement of Research Methods and Analysis (CARMA). The lectures are targeted for an introductory and advanced doctoral student, with an emphasis placed on the application of the research method technique.
