SFC Thomas A. Revette

TRAINING NCO  

Sergeant First Class Revette enlisted in the United States Army on 05 July 1990 from Rome, New York. During his 18 years of service SFC Revette has held numerous leadership positions which include: Commanding General's Driver, Tank Gunner, Section Sergeant, Tank Commander, Platoon Sergeant, Battalion Operations Sergeant, and Division Secretary of the Generals Staff (SGS) Operations Sergeant.

His previous assignments include: 2nd BN 13th Armor at Fort Knox, Kentucky, 4th BN 67th Armor Friedberg Germany with whom he deployed to Iraq in 1991, 1st SQDN 11th ACR (OPFOR) Fort Irwin, California, 2nd BN 37th Armor Friedberg, Germany with whom he deployed to Macedonia in 1997, 1st SQDN 11th ACR (OPFOR) Fort Irwin, California, 1st BN 35th Armor Baumholder, Germany with whom he deployed to Operation Iraqi Freedom 1, 2nd BN 12 Cavalry Fort Bliss, Texas with whom he deployed to Operation Iraqi Freedom 06-08. His military education includes Advanced Non-Commissioned Officer Course, Basic Non-Commissioned Officer Course, Warrior Leaders Course, M1A2 SEP Operator and Crew Training Course, Combat Lifesavers Course, Tank Crew Evaluators Course, Tank Weapon Gunnery Simulation System (TWIGSS), VIS Operator and Maintenance Training Course and the Total Army Retention Course.

Awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal (5 OLC), Army Achievement Medal (2 OLC), Good Conduct Medal (6 Knots), National Defense Service Medal (1 BS), Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Southwest Asia Campaign Medal (3 BS), Iraq Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Armed Forces Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon (Number 3), Army Service Ribbon, Army Overseas Service Ribbon (Number 5), United Nations Preventive Deployment Forces Medal, Kuwait Liberation Medal (W/ Palm, Saudi Arabia), Kuwait Liberation Medal (Kuwait), Presidential Unit Citation, Valorous Unit Award, Combat Action Badge and the Drivers Mechanics Badge (Tracked and Wheeled).
