A Collaborative Series of Professional Development Workshops
for Middle School Science Teachers

The goal of the workshop series is to establish and support professional development that is focused on collaborative, reflective experiences in “professional learning communities” that analyze data, read professional publications, examine student work, share lesson plans, experiences and expertise with colleagues and conduct action research. Participating teachers will receive a $75 classroom supplies gratuity for attending all 5 sessions, along with a copy of the book Best Practice by Zemelman, Daniels, and Hyde (1998). CEUs will also be available as an option.
Dates, times and location: 3:00—4:30 p.m.
