Bryleigh, a future director of a non-profit organization, is majoring in both communication and Spanish. Combining the two programs will give her a better understanding of how people interact and help her thrive in her career.
She spent some time in Spain as an exchange student in high school, and she wants to go back. One of the selling points of Western for Bryleigh was the study-abroad program. With multiple programs throughout the year in Spain and Mexico, she'll be traveling the world soon enough.
The strong reputation of the Lee Honors College and the immediate comfort she felt stepping onto campus narrowed her decision from two schools to Western.
There's a lot of talk about the community at WMU, and for good reason. Bryleigh had a new group of friends before she attended her first class. Welcome week seems to do that for people.
